What's been happening? 19 January 2021.
Hi everyone, so I haven't been on here for a while, unfortunately I have had a lot to contend with, with one thing and another.
On the 19th January 2021 at 8am, I received a phone call from my father asking me to meet my mother at my Grandad Bob's home in Whitehouse common. (Orchard House).
I jumped out of bed knowing that this wasn't going to be good news as Grandad had deteriorated over the past few days. I threw on my clothes, washed, and grabbed my keys and drove as quick as I could to the home, arriving at 8.45am
Unfortunately by the time I had arrived Grandad has slipped away and had gone peacefully whilst sleeping, he looked at rest. Mom was sat by his bedside, and had told me that he had just gone as she had arrived..
such a sad day, but finally he can rest in peace, with no more pain.
Grandad, you were a very special man, kind.. warm hearted, and I loved listening to your stories,
You will ALWAYS have a very special place in my heart.... I Miss You.
